As you are aware, following the landlord's decision to reject our proposals, we will sadly be closing Cineworld Castleford on 19 January 2025.
From 19 January 2025 your Unlimited membership will be moved to Cineworld Barnsley and will remain as a Group 2 membership. This will allow you to continue using your membership at Cineworld Barnsley and our neighbouring cinemas including Leeds and Wakefield, in addition to all other cinemas in Unlimited Membership Groups 1 and 2.
In line with our upcoming price changes, if you pay monthly, your monthly fee will increase to £17.99/month from 13th January 2025. You won’t need to do anything to change your payments, as your direct debit or recurring card payment will be adjusted automatically and payment will be taken on your usual payment day. Annual members will be upgraded on 19 January 2025 to Group 2 and upon renewal can continue with a Group 2 membership, upgrade to Group 3 or 4 or revert back to Group 1.
